A stunning presentation including a vintage clipping hand signed signed by Jimmy Hill commemorating Jimmy’s 15 years hosting the most famous football highlight show ever shown on television Match of the Day.

A vintage clipping taken from a the 1955/56 Charles Buchan’s Soccer Gift Book.

Professionally framed and mounted along with 15 pictures representing a poignant moment from each year Jimmy Hill hosted Match of the Day (moments listed below). Also with a beautiful photo of Hill behind the camera, a plaque with the relevant details engraved and the wording ‘Match of the Day’ cut into the mount.

1977/78 – Bob Latchford has a prolific goal scoring season propelling Everton to a 3rd place finish./ /1978/79 – Trevor Francis signs for Nottingham Forest becoming the first £1million player.

1979/80 – Ballon D’Or winner Kevin Keegan signs for Southampton.

1980/81 – Aston Villa win their first League Title for 71 years.

1981/82 – Iconic Liverpool Manager Bill Shankley passes away.

1982/83 – Watford finish League Runners up with John Barnes bursting on the scene as a young English talent.

1983/84 – Liverpool win their 3rd successive title, this time under the management of Joe Fagan.

1984/85 – Liverpool’s local rivals Everton end their dominance by securing the league title formidably.

1985/86 – Double blow for Everton as this time they are runners up to Liverpool in the title race and are also beaten by them in the FA Cup Final.

1986/87 – Wimbledon start to emerge as a force in English football, Plough Lane the setting for a truly intimidating place for away teams to play.

1987/88 – Liverpool secure their 17th league title with John Aldridge having a superb debut season at Anfield scoring 26 league goals.
